Happy Teacher's Day! Today is Teacher Day celebration! Yay! We gave teachers t-shirt and the tulip that’s very nice! ^_- and I self made photo frame for some of the teachers.. and one teacher is like a photo frame with origami inside.. then when you shake, every thing moves about and it’s very ncie! Lolx.. This year’s concert standard higher too.. not as childish as last time.. ( is it cause upper sec concert? ) Enjoyed myself today.. though for ACES no one was exercising around me, except for me.. lolx.. so nice this year then dun exercise.. wad a waste.. Breakfast was great though not much interaction b/w the people.. and it’s very rushy with barely anything to eat.. ^_^ but of course plain and simple would be nice.. Er.. I did something silly today... I went around asking teachers for signatures and then.. one of the teacher hands full, so ask me to hold the plastic bag for her in the time being.. and.. after she signed.. well.. I took the plastic bag with me, unaware of course.. haha.. wad a joke! LOLx! I liked this year’s teacher day.. like got more content and perhaps cause dun need to rush from breakfast to concert but instead wen concert 1st then have breakfast so like can have breakfast for as long as I wan.. Wel... bz bz.. Long time no blog cause too bz.. there’s 4 test next week—end of term some more.. to my horror, 11 days after Term 4 starts will be the final year exam.. so.. yar.. scary and doubt the teachers have enough time to teach, esp history!!!!! And I’m “indulging” in making gifts for teachers.. it’s a photo frame.. bookmark, and perhaps cards? Which is very time consuming.. lots of biji to do and.. to make things worse, sept hol got a camp. Which leaves me no time to finish hol homework.. sigh.. nvm, I will pull thru.. ^_^ Today was the El oral.. got reading, conversation as well as pic description.. did the worse for the conversation.. tot it was quite ok, but the teacher told me to focus on the adjective herbal medicine ( where’s the adjective I wonder? ) the most feared one was the pic one, then became my best part lor.. so weird.. Muahaha! Er.. guess wad I dreamt of last night? I dreamt that I could not sleep. So in the end when I woke up, I keep wondering if I did sleep or not.. haha.. and now I’m so tired. -_-“ Restarted the angle-mortal game today.. hmm.. now most are playing though I believe we’re short of one.. I got a reasonable mortal, juz hope he dun pass too much comments on whatever I’m going to give him. And due to my “detective skills”, I have already found out who my angel is ( which spoils the fun ). So I hope this round will end this week.. lolx.. keep playing and playing until got 40 rounds? 10 x 4 weeks = 40 weeks.. juz righ.. lolx.. Wonder wad I shld do for my mortal.. sweet? Note? Cd? Wad? Busy.. Din blog yest, but a summary: Got back SS and HCL paper and glad I din do badly.. I expected myself to fail SS, but din. Din expect myself to get above 80 for HCL, but did.. SO it’s quite a happy news.. ^_^ Today is a super busy day. If not for the fact need to email teacher something, I won’t have come online.. lolx.. ?_? Played DDR today again.. but my right feet in the middle dunno why keep pain.. last time was everytime PE my left feet middle will pain, so I usually do push up with one leg.. Now the other leg pain, I can’t do continuous jumps.. the feel is like there’s a line of electricity running through the middle of the sole of your feet. Lolx.. Juz did some filing because my teacher haven returned me my file, so filed it in another temporary file cause my file need to lose weight liaoz. Haha.. then so shun bian went to arrange my book nicely and look thru papers that shld be kept and those that can be thrown away.. So now’s everything’s in place and is neater.. Still cracking my head over the debate, though I believe that I got a definition that may be of use.. but still my speech, I can’t decide on what to use cuase I’ll have to check what the 1st speaker is defining it as, in order to be able to use what I have typed out.. Post Friday the 13th? Today was a great day! Mornign woke up at 6.30 am then slept again.. woke up at around 10.20, then mum ask wad breakfast I wanna. In the end she suggested going to mac because wanna top-up ez-link at the same time.. haha.. ^_^ So off I went for Mac.. Nice nice.. Then went shopping around for many things.. spent quite a lot too.. lolx.. then went Watson.. then saw this gel that can hold and shine at the same time, and it’s purple some more.. a lot and cheap and quite pleasant looking.. so bought it.. so that can apply at some part of the hair so that it does not keep covering my eyes and obstructing my view.. Mum also bought a watermeleon too! Yummy! Came home about 1 something. Ate Instant noodle for lunch! Yay! Then read previous day’s newspaper. And exercised.. using.. DDR! Haha.. long time no train liaoz.. skill become so poor that I can’t even bear to see. Only got a SS for Boom Boom Boom.. And the Dub I Dub in another mode, kept getting C.. sobz.. made 3 bad and 5 miss.. sighz.. But after some training, rose to A again.. though still far from SS in the past. Tried the trip machine too.. Got a C again.. sigh.. far from previous A.. Was on it for like 1 and a half hours? Then I cooled down by doing some warm-up that we usually do for PE. But I made it tougher to suit my own taste. Haha. Did 50 jumping jacks, 30 criss cross, 30 push up and 20 crunches.. Yup.. whole day almost burnt out doing “exercise”.. Friday the 13th Hmmm.. today wasn’t a very good day.. first, during English lesson, we were supp to have a debate session in class, presenting our case to the class so that they can assess us and give us some pointers. But apparently, few of us were prepared and one even wanted to withdraw last minute! Well.. she did bring this withdrawal thing quite a few times, but today she was esp firm. And so now we faced the problem of deciding who to be what and also new people have to take over, so everything has to be changed. Even though I prepared my speech, it was full of error. At 1st I wanted to read from a collected research from many ppl. But at 11 plus, while rehersing¸I found that it won’t be smooth flipping from paper to paper.. sigh.. however, I guess I was too tired then and typed with lots of errors and mistake. And I was tongue-tied for quite a lot of times.. hmm.. had to come up with impromptu. My vocab, verb and so on was all in a utter mess.. =( Some comments about my presentation pls.. And how I can improve.. The teacher was also very frustrated with us and seemed unhappy that most of us did not prepare anything.. ( in fact only 2 prepared, where 1 was a reserve, though now changes are made and he may now be an actual.. ) bad day.. sigh.. Things did change for the better a bit after sch. Today was the sec 1 induction for council. The sec 1 who came were generally pleasant and really got the council kind of look. Except for some, whom I’ve seen them misbehave at times.. but last time when we were choosing, I only had the names and I forgot the face, so din know it was them.. but chances should be given to them to prove themselves though.. and people do change.. maybe they’d become better? ^_^ They played games, while me and SY stayed in the needlework room to complete some touch up on the teacher’s T-shirts.. Well.. there was one which I tot was beyond repair. When I tried, it got worst.. so scary.. but luckily, I did manage to repair 2 other T-shirts.. Phew.. Miss Lim treated us to some tidbits, though I din take any, as I was busy painting.. but a junior very sweet.. gave me a lollipop.. ^_^ Today dad started work.. apparently, he looks quite fine to me.. though I dunno if actually he has completely recovered.. though I think not, most likely recovering and not recovered.. Today weird things happen to me.. My right ankle I walk the stairs suddenly pain for no reason.. like sprain lidat.. then very pain, then suddenly ok.. then after a while, suddenly pain again. My left toe also. Keep on like got high blood pressure there.. feels blood going in spurts and feel like it’s swelling. And there’s two depression there too.. wonder wad is this.. Happy birthday to not me.. Haven been blogging for quite some time.. got quite a lot to say but forgot wad to say.. haha.. anyway, dad’s ok these few days and I hope e recovery is here to stay and not temporary.. Anyway, just some add-ons to the interesting things.. Bio mark should be 32/35, told the teacher already, still refuse to change, and give me 33/35.. haha.. *so stubborn* ( psst.. familiar.. ) I shan’t try anymore since she’s easily irritated when ppl cling on to her regarding the same issue again and again.. Miss Neo came specially to collect the SS project from us ( sicne 1st time got stolen ) and 2nd time ( I not sure ) of another assignment.. Good attempt.. er.. dotz.. Good heart.. erm.. ok, you get wad I’m trying to say rite? Haha.. Today our class had 3 birthday ppl. One is sj, then huiyan, then jk.. Wel.. gave a card to the 2 girls and a gift to sj ( juz knew about hy’s bdae yest.. ) then sj got a lot of present.. haha. And that reminds me that I m pity.. cause bdae in the hol.. and 911 some more lorz. So unlucky one. Happy Brithday Singapore! Hurray! National Day! 2004.. ^_^.. but still I prefer 2002’s.. =P Well.. this year’s was of course better than last year’s and act 3 formation was not bad.. but, the prop they used sort of spoilt the whole thing.. some tilted their drum at this angle, some placed it at another angle, so it seems rather disorganized.. but overall, it was well done.. As for the Act 1, I still preferred last time their balloon performance.. As for Act 2, I think this was better.. However, I felt that the first item when I on the TV, the one by the Bao something Secondary School one was weird.. it was very slow moving and disorganized, which I think was caused by the clothes they were wearing.. only liked the eagle part.. The fireworks were nice and the rest were just more or less the usual thing we see.. the song HOME was nice, nicer than the one on TV, where the kids looked like they were going to a funeral.. Well.. today my dad beginning was quite ok, wasn’t very pain. In fact like normal. Juz very sleepy, which I deduced is due to the medicine.. however, in the evening, it seems to have worsen, though he kept denying it.. it’s always like this.. morning, ok.. then night comes, then suddenly the shoulder very pain again.. sigh.. but at least things are turning for the better.. at least he can sit now.. As for me, things are getting worse.. haha.. I dunno used how many tissue paper today? 100? hello? Today my dad doing fine, though yesterday he was in great pain. Then the doc gave him one dunno wad medicine then managed to curb the pain. Anyway, I suddenly realized I haven highlighted many events happening this week. So now, let me try to summerize them in a hilarious way.. à Stolen! Again: well.. though I am not sure, but rumours are spreading that our SS SBQ assignment has been stolen again. I think the teacher has engaged the discipline master to really step in this time, for it’s real serious. Big business! à Bang! : A car accident occurred outside our school one day. Think Thursday. I dunno wad exactly happened. But from wad I see, I can imagine that it’s two cars knocking into each other, causing both to overturn and even breaking one of the fence. Thank goodness I wasn’t at the bus-stop, or I’ll be O_O.. à Yum! : There’s a new type of product sold at our sch bookshop.. Known as the Tommy jellybean and it’s selling real hot. Tried it and it’s superb. Even my mum agrees. Going to buy some more when sch re-open. Now then you know what is sweet arh? Grab yours today! à Ocean: Yay! 7 weeks at the top of the album chart! Ole! I seriously hope he don’t ever show his face.. Let mystery be mystery just like bygones be bygones! à Am I just lucky or unlucky? : On a fine Saturday evening, my mum and I went out to top up my M1 SIM card ( no one uses it though. ). On my way, my sandal strip broke. So I was quite crippling. Luckily, it broke only after I crossed the road. Unfortunately, it was still difficult to walk. Luckily I met my councilor friends. Unfortunately, they were doing the donation thing for the Colours of Life. Luckily, they din see me. Unfortunately, one saw me and called another to come to me. $$ gone. Luckily the whole big group din see me. Unfortunately my shoe got worse. Luckily I like the pin I got with the donation. Later, my mum and I comb the whole of bedok ( be glad it din entangled ) in search for THE slipper for me.. haha.. and none satisfied me. In the end got to juz make do with a cheap and quite comfortable shoe. It’s all black or brown. And it’s strips at the toe around there.. Unforunately, It’s getting late. Luckily, I found the shop with M1 top up card. Unfortunately, they look busy. Luckily, they attended to me afterall. Unfortunately, I was like asking stupid question. ( untrue, juz wanna have the lucky and unlucky effect ) Luckily, the M1 top-up card had 5566 pic. Unfortunately, I got Rio’s one and not Jason’s one. Luckily the rest weren’t as nice as the one I got. So am I juz lucky or juz unlucky? Disclaimer: I’m sure there’s a lot more happenings but I just can’t recall, at least not as much as wad I tot I recalled just now, so will be keeping blog updated if the event is significant enuff.. tata! ^_^ PS: should I start a like lyric thing on my blog? =( Well.. my dad and my mum went to the clinic downstairs, the one we always trusted.. cause the hospital pills were useless.. din help at all.. when they got back, they said the doc gave another prescription for my dad and told him to stop consuming the last time one.. and he said it was the nerve that was out of place, not wad bone thing.. got an injection, but my father refused to take. I think there’s really bone spike in my dad, from the x-ray, but it’s not the cause of this pain.. Hopefully this new medicine would help.. And the clinic ask him to go back on Monday, while the hospital one is to go back on Wednesday.. Hope by Monday, everything would be settled.. ^_^ Just now, he was in pain again, so wen to the doc to get the injection in the end.. But after that still like no effect.. sigh.. The week for me.. Wednesday ( 4th August ): Chem practical today. I nv liked practicals.. I always tot I’l do something wrong.. haha.. and I did.. added too much acid ( and luckily, the teacher also added too much ^_^ ).. today is v.basic practical. Doing the topic on acid. Heard that my dad got a acute pain in his arms, shoulder there.. then wen doc, the doc refused to give him MC.. though he can come home earlier from work.. However, in the middle of the nite, at around 2am or so, suddenly got very very pain. Usually he’s someone who dun say pain one. Like if you hit your toe veru hard on the side of the table, he will juz treat it like nothing. But this time is pain until cannot talk. So in the end, called for an ambulance to take him to hospital. I din go along though. They ask me to sleep.. then the scariest part is that he keep pressing his head, and my mum says his hands are cold.. when in the end, it’s actually the shoulder.. SO when they came back at round 6am, my mum say the doc examined, took X-tray. And then there’s spikes coming our from his shoulder bone.. dunno wad they call it.. osteo-something.. ( not osteoporosis ) aka acute cervical ( or dunno wad. ) something.. then got 7 days MC, then need to go for wu4 li3 zhi4 liao2. if it doesn’t improve, maybe need an OP. sigh.. =’( Thursday ( 5th August ): Stayed back for meeting for tomolo’s celebration.. I dunno where I belong to, but I juz help out in the song dedication ppl in sorting out the CDs. I supp I won’t be joining them on that day, because one, I’m blur, 2nd, I’ll be more of a nuisance there.. so maybe juz go there, see if need help, if no need, then juz leave them to manage? ^_^ My dad’s better now.. I think it’s still very pain.. it’s something to do with the bone, so muz be super pain. But I think, it’s better than yest. He can now smile. Though when he eats, he wanna vomit and then he got to wake up, eat one mouth, sleep, eat and so on.. cause it’s terrible. And he slept the whole day.. I dunno if it’s better for him to try walking for a while, or for him to juz lie there.. Friday ( 6th August ): National Day Celebration Cool! Today was our sch’s national day’s celebration.. Almost, almost everyone wore red to school.. I got that red shirt with Singapore, I love you one.. ^_- today, in the morn, reached 6.30.. v.early, rite? Anyway, we met in the morning to do the final touch-up for today’s song dedication. The day started.. then got the morning parade. All the uniform groups walk in and then there was the recollection. We got our souvenirs too! It’s a transparent zip-lock with a compact, flat hole puncher, a ruler, and a compact stapler.. haha.. And I chose the PURPLE one! Now my I have a purple ruler!!! Yes! I got a purple pen with blue-black ink, purple mech pencil, purple pencil case, purple friendship band, purple stapler, purple hole puncher, purple correction tape cover.. now I almost complete my collection! Haha.. juz left eraser.. and a watch and a bag, as pointed out by my teacher.. haha.. she says I dun have purple watch and bag.. The concert was good. Not exactly a concert but a competition. Our class din participate cause on that day of audition, some of our classmates got bio lesson.. well.. most of them was nice. 4/3 had a good opening to the whole competition. Then 4/4 was well-organised and their steps were good too.. 4/5, since mostly guys. They decided to do a dance that is very stiff so that it’d look funny. And the use juz their voice to make the music and sing the song ( I dunno how to spell this acapalle -thing.. ) so rather interesting. And funny too.. And they got 1st too.. there was an encore too.. and 4/4 got 2nd.. 4/2 one quite nice, 4/1 also.. 3/1 and 3/2 combined very enthu.. then 3/6 is nice.. the singing.. but then the prob is too a bit boring.. Next, 2nd part of prgramme, wen to canteen to spend the $1 coupon our sch gave us. At 1st I wen to the song dedication there, but after a while. I find they have more than enuff manpower and I can’t stand the LOUD sound.. haha.. my ear drum breaking and my heart thumping away.. so I wen away. Ah.. test week? Sunday (1st August): Today need to chiong HCL test and SS test which are both diff to study. But now, I think I’m quite ready, so now taking a short break before continuing.. ^_^ Well.. my dad lost his keys at his workplace, then called home to check if at home. Then got me so worried. Finally when he came home, then I realized, the key he was talking about, is actually the keys to his locker containing his bathing materials.. lolx.. *listening to Ocean Ou De Yang’s album now.. nice nice..* Monday (2nd Auguest): Well.. today started off with ss test ( which wasn’t too smooth ). Din complete the whole paper. Din ans L5 question and halfway thru inference qn. Not too good. Overwrite, I think.. 4 sheets of paper. Anyway, someone wrote only one sheet, which is pretty scary.. too much emphasis on the reliability qn.. Then after that, chosen for the debate thing. Hope they put me in reserve. I’m not going to drag the whole class down.. -_-“ Suddenly, today got history test, though open book one.. one structured qn. Then I took own sweet time cause 1hr to do and wrote 2 sheets. Scared me though. Halfway thru, teacher was like, I shld give another qn, some finish v.fast. I went omg. I haven finish my first one.. luckily, I think she 4got or something.. Then HCl test. Wel.. things I learnt did not come out, things I din, came out. Chinese test always lidat one, isn’t it. Anyway, once again, was most stuck at the summary. Though this time I paid more attention to the content and not the way everything was linked together. So hope can get more marks this way.. Actually wanted to buy the red-national day t-shirt today with 2 others fren. But got council meeting for grad nite, so didn’t. then cause got HCl, so wen late, then dunno wad was going on.. haha.. *blurs* No homework today. Surprisingly. So slept in the afternoon. Nice nice. Weather pretty cool too. So nice. So had a nice sleep.. Saw on TV that Ocean’s CD is the top of the chart for 7 weeks. Well.. consider this. Out of 10 fans, 4 bought the CD, 2 borrows the CD to burn and the others borrow the borrowed CD to burn. From this, you can see how popular he is.. wel.. the one I burnt from, was burnt from someone else. And when I ask her to burn, 5 other ppl asked her to burn to. So can you see how famous he is? ;o Tuesday (3rd August): Bought the National Day red t-shirt from Hang Ten with my 2 other fren.. well.. apparently, all the nice nice designs all snatched up.. but I guess mine is not that bad.. at least not those with the word Singapore so small, and the word HANG TEN so big.. lolx. I think it’s the nicest one of the rest.. and got lots of XS.. haha.. the quality quite good.. I 4got wad design it was though.. will be wearing it on Fri anyway.. haha.. Then got one man, bought only 1, then dun wanna pay $6, wanna pay with us, so that it is discounted to $5.. haha.. so funny.. like that also wanna save.. dun need to care face one siah.. |
